Construída em 1855 por Carlos Morato Roma, a mansão ostenta prospecto de influência inglesa, designadamente com as suas fachadas revestidas com argamassa a imitar a tijolo vermelho. O alçado principal ostenta três registos verticais através da interposição de cunhais nos ângulos e pilastras integradas no alçado, assim como os dois andares estão delimitados por friso que percorre toda a fachada. Ao centro, abre-se uma pequena galilé reta sustida por colunas e sustento uma varanda em ferro forjado. O beirado do telhado encontra-se ocultado por platibanda.

Heritage in the Cultural Landscape of Sintra
This mansion, built in 1855 by Carlos Morato Roma, has an English perspective, particularly owing to its imitation red brick façades. Its main elevation has three vertical sections interspersed by quoins and the integration of pilasters at its corners. Its two floors are delimited by a frieze which runs along the whole of the façade. The central part of the building has a small galilee sustained by columns, supporting a wrought iron balcony. The edge of the roof is hidden by a platband.
