O terramoto de 1755 arruinou bastante a antiga ermida de Santo André de Almoçageme, localizada à entrada do lugar, tendo-se então edificado nova igreja em pleno centro da aldeia, no termo de um amplo terreiro precedido por um cruzeiro sobre uma alta base circular, que foi consagrada a Nossa Senhora da Graça, em 1764, e consiste num templo de planta regular. Na fachada principal destaca-se o singelo portal pombalino, ao qual se sobrepõe um janelão.
No seu interior, de nave única, salienta-se apenas o arco triunfal que conduz à capela-mor, profunda e regular e com balcão lateral. Porém esta igreja foi adulterada, nos finais do século passado, por trabalhos ditos de beneficiação.

Heritage in the Special Protection Site of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra
The effects of the earthquake of 1755 on the ancient chapel of Santo André de Almoçageme, at the entrance to Almoçageme, were highly destructive. A new church, with a regular layout, was later built in the heart of the village, at the end of a large common preceded by a wayside cross on a high circular base, which was consecrated to Our Lady of Grace in 1764. Its main façade is adorned by a simple Pombaline portal, under a large window.
The only item worthy of note inside this single-naved church is its triumphal arch which leads to a deep, regularly shaped chancel and lateral balcony. The church was, however, disfigured at the end of the last century by what were intended to be improvement works.
