A fachada principal da Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição encontra-se bem definida por cunhais pétreos, sendo rematada por um frontão encimado por uma cruz, e nela se abre um portal maneirista, datado de 1567. Nesse portal, desenvolve-se repertório maneirista de traça erudita; e sobre ele evidencia-se a lápide ovalada, ostentando a seguinte epígrafe: Esta Casa é de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, ano de 1566.
O interior da igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição é de uma só nave e com cobertura em abóbada de berço. Junto à porta principal e do lado direito, nota-se uma pia-de-água-benta esculpida em forma de pátera sustida por uma mão que emerge da parede. Um bem lançado arco triunfal conduz à capela-mor, cujas paredes estão integralmente revestidas com vários painéis de azulejos datáveis de inícios de setecentos. Esses painéis ostentam enquadramentos concheados e neles figuram a Anunciação, Desponsórios, Santa Ana e São Joaquim. O tecto da capela-mor, em abóbada de berço é de madeira policroma e enriquecida por uma pintura do primeiro quartel do século XVIIIabrindo-se ao centro um medalhão com Nossa Senhora da Conceição. Ao fundo, salienta-se o retábulo polícromo, datável do mesmo século.

The main façade of the Igreja da Nossa Senhora da Conceição is delineated by stone quoins, topped by a pediment surmounted by a cross with a manneristportal. The portal displays erudite mannerist motifs above which an oval-shaped plaque bears the following epigraph: This is the House of Our Lady of the Conception, in the year 1566.
The Igreja da Nossa Senhora da Conceição has a single, barrel-vaulted nave. Next to its main entrance on the right hand side is a holy water font sculpted in the shape of a patera held aloft by a hand emerging from the wall. An elegant triumphal arch leads to the chancel all of whose walls are lined with various tile panels dating from the early 18th century. These shell-framed panels depict the Annunciation, Espousals, Santa Ana and São Joaquim. The chancel has a barrel-vaulted polychrome wood ceiling, enhanced by a painting from the first quarter of the 18th century, with a medallion of Our Lady of the Conception at its centre. A polychrome retable which can be dated back to the same century stands at the far end of the chancel.
